PBC Cares Hurricane Maria Volunteer Opportunities

In partnership with Palm Beach County Cares, United Way of Palm Beach County and Palm Beach Atlantic University, we are recruiting volunteers to help support residents and communities in Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Volunteer Opportunities:

October 12 through November 12, 2017

  • Weekdays – 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
  • Weekends – 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Donation Warehouse Volunteers will be working at the warehouse in Riveria Beach. On October 21 and October 28, volunteers are needed at the Donation Warehouse and our donation stations. Donation Station locations are located in Delray Beach and Jupiter and are listed within the sign up times.

Volunteer work requirements:

  • Accept donation deliveries at the donation management center and/or donation locations.
  • Sort, pack and stack donations and boxes for palletizing donated goods for relief efforts.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
  • Activities held indoors, however dress comfortably - closed toed shoes are required.
  • Water and snacks will be provided.
  • Minimum age to volunteer is 16. All 16 and 17 year olds must have parent/guardian sign the Volunteer Agreement and Release form.Parent/Guardian please download and complete Volunteer Agreement and Release. Email form back to JodieBoisvert@UnitedWayPBC.org. Volunteers 18 and older can digitally sign the waiver during the registration process.
